Our staff are fluent in American Sign Language and knowledgeable about deaf culture, the psychosocial aspects of deafness and its impact on individuals and their family members. Professional ASL interpreters are provided for staff members who do not sign but are working with individuals who are deaf.
Confidential services available at the Gartlan Center, the Merrifield Center and the Gerry Hyland Government Center (South County Center) include:
- Case management.
- Supportive counseling.
- Medication services.
- Crisis counseling.
- Referrals for other services.
Community education about mental health and substance use issues is also available.
Fees are charged based on ability to pay and most insurance plans are accepted.
