Park Authority Camps

If your child is placed on a waitlist, you will be emailed should a spot become available. Spaces become available when someone cancels enrollment. Be sure Parktakes emails are not going to your junk or spam folders.

Plan all of your children’s summer camps and make online registration quick and easy!

  • Download this simple to use Camp Spreadsheet to sort camps for your kids by their age, the week, the type of camp, and the location.
  • Once you pick the camp, write down the Catalog ID on our Summer Camp Planner Sheet.  Print it to use when you register in Parktakes Online.  A timesaver!
  • Still need help?  Call our Registration Unit at 703-222-4664 Monday-Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Plans Changed? - Refunds and Transfers

  • Refunds may be done online if outside of the 14 day window ($25 cancellation fee applies for all refunds). Transfers cannot be done online--call 703-222-4664 if you wish to transfer from one camp to another to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds and transfers MUST be requested at least 14 days prior to the camp session from which you are withdrawing or transferring.
  • There is a $25 cancellation fee for all refunds, per week/session.
  • There are no refunds for missed days due to work/vacation schedules, sick days or other non-emergency reasons.
  • Refunds and transfers are not permitted without 14 days’ notice of such request.
  • Within 14 days of the start of a camp session, refunds are only approved for medical emergencies with a doctor’s note if it is received before the camp begins.
  • If a medical emergency occurs during camp, a doctor’s note is required within 24 hours for a pro-rated refund. Requests received after the camp session ends will not be granted.

COVID-19 Information

The FCPA routinely monitors guidance from the CDC and governing health agencies to ensure enhanced safety protocols are in place to maintain a healthy environment for children and staff. To ensure everyone’s safety, camp procedures related to COVID-19 protocol may change at the direction of the CDC and local health officials. Activities may also be altered or omitted based on recommendations for our area. While we would like to be able to provide you with solid information at this time regarding the safety protocol for campers and staff, we won’t know the official recommendations from the CDC and health department until we are closer to the start of the programs.
